Introduction:
The Price Watch Macros report provides valuable insights into product pricing. Follow the steps below to effectively use this report and gain meaningful information.
Step-by-Step Guide to Using the Price Watch Macros Report:
- Access 'Search & Reporting':
From the Dashboard, navigate to 'Search & Reporting' to begin.
- Define Search Parameters:
Set the desired parameters for your report, such as selecting a supplier and specifying a date range. Click on 'Search' to initiate the search.
- Generate the Report:
Once you have conducted the search with your preferred parameters, click on 'Report'.
- Generate the Price Watch Report:
Within the report options, locate and click on 'GENERATE' for the 'Price Watch' report.
- Download the Report:
After the report has finished generating, access your reports list by clicking the 'Show Reports List' icon at the top-right of the page. Download the report*.
- Open Price Watch and Price Watch Macros Files:
Open both the Price Watch and Price Watch Macros files. If prompted by Excel's security settings, click on 'Enable Content' in the 'SECURITY WARNING' to allow the macros to run.
- Combine Files and Refresh Data:
In the Price Watch Macros file, click on 'Combine Files'** and then select 'Refresh Data'. This action will load the Price Watch Report tab for you, displaying all products charged within the selected date range from the suppliers included in your search
- Filter by Supplier (Optional):
To filter the report by supplier, change column B, row 1 from '(All)' to the desired supplier. This will show product details exclusively from the selected supplier.
- Access Invoice Details:
By double-clicking on any cell in columns C to H, starting from row 4 and below, a new sheet will open. This sheet contains a list of every invoice where the respective product appeared on your account, along with the corresponding prices***.
Important Notes:
- All generated reports will expire after 24 hours*.
- After combining the files for the first time, you only need to refresh the data**.
- Manually delete the additional sheets created as they can clutter the file over time***.
