Step-by-Step Guide to Set Up Budget Control:
Enable Budget Control:
Make sure budget control is switched on in your account. Contact our team for assistance in enabling this feature.
Prepare Budget CSV File:
Fill in your budget details in a CSV file. Refer to Understanding Budget CSV Column Headers for guidance on how to complete the file.
Access Company Settings:
Click on the settings cog located at the top-right corner of any page. From the dropdown menu, select "Company Settings".
Select Budget:
In the list of options on the left-hand side of the page, choose "Budget".
Import Budgets:
Under the section displaying your list of budgets, click on "IMPORT BUDGETS".
Choose CSV File:
In the pop-up box, click to select your CSV file. Navigate to where you have saved your budget CSV file and choose it.
Select Start Month:
Specify the first month for which you want your budgets to start.
Import Budgets:
Click on "IMPORT BUDGETS" to initiate the import process.
Save Changes:
To save your imported budgets, click on the "SAVE" button located in the bottom-right corner of the page.
